On this week’s episode of F*ck Wellness, Mallory brings on two college students, Zack and Carrie, to share their experiences with sexual health at college. Carrie and Zack describe growing up in conservative, religious areas of the country with essential no sex education and how it felt to start college unequipped with the tools to navigate drinking, sex, and health. The group talks about how to reach students on sensitive topics like anal sex and using protection, why peer-to-peer communication is the most effective when it comes to sexual health, and what they wish they had known before coming to college.
This is our third episode of March focusing on sexuality. Our first episode highlighted Mallory, Lara, and Makena’s experiences learning about sex and sexuality. Our second episode featured Erin Kenney, a sex educator at an adult boutique. Next week we will have the lovely Rachel Wainz of the podcast “Balls Deep” on to break down the taboo topics around sex.
